ROBLEY DRIVE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT. During the 08/12/2009 Committee Meeting, District 1 Police Juror, Mr. Dane Hebert, informed the committee that he spoke with Mr. Tom Carroll, Public Works Director with Lafayette Consolidated Government concerning the Robley Drive Bridge. He was informed that construction on the bridge replacement should begin sometime in late September or early October 2009.
DISASTER FOOD STAMP PROGRAM. All low- to moderate-income Louisianians may be eligible for Disaster Food Stamp benefits in the event of a natural disaster and should pre-apply now for benefits online or by phone. Current Food Stamp recipients do not need to pre-apply and would receive disaster benefits automatically. Click here for online application.
