INFORMATION FOR VERMILION PARISH RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE GUSTAV OR IKE

Due to the amount of debris generated by Hurricane Gustav, we are asking Vermilion Parish residents to adhere to the following guidelines when placing debris for pickup by Solid Waste:

  1. Please separate household, tree and construction debris
  2. Please continue to dispose of any household debris in the Police Jury issued 96-gallon containers
  3. DO NOT place debris of ANY kind under trees or power lines.

The Vermilion Parish Police Jury thanks you for your cooperation in this matter.

DISASTER FOOD STAMP PROGRAM: Beginning Monday, September 15th, all Disaster Food Stamp sites will reopen again until September 23rd. VERMILION PARISH LOCATION: St. Theresa Church Hall, 101 North Leonard Street, Abbeville LA.
